The Oregon District Attorneys Association (ODAA) today announced that Washington County District Attorney Bob Hermann has been elected 2005 president. Hermann's one-year term started January 1.
Other officers elected during the ODAA Winter Conference were Benton County District Attorney Scott Heiser, vice-president; and Clackamas County District Attorney John Foote, secretary/treasurer. Elected as a director was Dan Norris, Malheur County District Attorney. Hood River County District Attorney John Sewell and Columbia County District Attorney R. Stephen Atchison were re-elected as directors.
Attorney General Hardy Myers, Jackson County Counsel Mike Jewett and immediate past President Brad Berry from Yamhill County complete the ODAA Executive Committee.
The association provides coordinated training, continuing education and research services to district attorneys throughout the state. It also represents the interests of district attorneys on issues of statewide importance.
