Oregon Attorney General Hardy Myers today issued the following statement on the tragedy suffered by former Attorney General Lee Johnson's family and others in Gearhart yesterday:

"The thoughts and sympathies of all of us at Oregon Department of Justice go out to former Attorney General Johnson, his daughters and all the families touched by this tragedy. We hope that together they can find solace in this difficult time and that they know that people across Oregon share in their loss."
