Attorney General To Announce Major Prescription Drug Settlement Tomorrow

Oregon Attorney General Hardy Myers will announce at a Salem press conference tomorrow a major settlement with one of the nation's leading prescription drug manufacturers regarding the improper promotion of prescription drugs for unapproved, or "off-label," uses.

WHEN: Wednesday, October 22, 2008, 9:30 a.m.

WHERE: Oregon State Capitol, Room 43, 900 Court St. NE, Salem

WHO: Attorney General Hardy Myers and Assistant Attorney General David Hart

WHAT: Attorney General Hardy Myers to announce settlement with major pharmaceutical drug manufacturer for improper promotion tactics.
