Attorney General Hardy Myers today announced receipt of the latest payment from the tobacco industry of $39,680,256.82 as required by the Master Settlement Agreement. Oregon has received approximately $92.6 million under the settlement so far. Payments are made annually, in perpetuity. The funds accrue to the state's General Fund.
