Learn more about Oregon’s Crime Victims’ Compensation Program (CVCP). The CVCP works to ease financial burden suffered by hundreds of Oregonians each year. This training includes information about program eligibility, benefits, the application process and how payments are handled. To comply with the CVSSD grant requirement to attend CVC training, participants must complete both the “Crime Victims’ Compensation Primer” and “Crime Victims’ Compensation: Applied” online courses, including a final exam for each course. For grants beginning on or after October 1, 2020, all grant-funded staff are required to attend CVC training at least once every four years, with new staff attending CVC training within six months of hire.
