Presentation: University of Oregon “Dynamics of Intimate Partner Gun Violence and Promising Practices to Implement Policies Aimed at Reducing Firearm Lethality”

1)    Presentation by Jennifer Becker, JD – Jennifer currently serves as Director of the National Center on Gun Violence in Relationships at the Battered Women’s Justice Project (BWJP), working with communities and systems to address the intersection of intimate partner violence and gun violence. She is a former prosecutor. Before joining BWJP, Jennifer served as Legal Director for the nation’s oldest women’s rights legal organization where she implemented innovative legal strategies combining impact litigation, policy advocacy, and training and technical assistance affecting a range of issues faced by survivors of gender-based violence.
