WHAT: In his first full day in office, Attorney General John Kroger will announce a new technology transfer plan to make sure Oregon public universities work better to bolster local business.

Technology transfer is the process in which commercially viable research and innovation developed within the public university system is licensed and made ready for commercial use. A more streamlined technology transfer process also helps taxpayers see a greater return on their investment in the public university system.
