What: Attorney General John Kroger will kick off National Consumer Protection Week by announcing the annual Top 10 Consumer Complaint List. Attorney General Kroger will also unveil an important new tool for consumers to protect themselves from unscrupulous businesses

Where: Oregon Department of Justice Portland office, 1515 S.W. 5th Ave., Suite 410, Portland, Ore.

What: Attorney General John Kroger, Oregon Real Estate Agency, Portland Housing Bureau and Oregon Association of Realtors will host a foreclosure fraud symposium at the Oregon Convention Center.  This symposium will educate real estate professionals about the growing problem of mortgage and foreclosure fraud in Oregon.  Over 550 real estate professionals are currently registered to attend. 

When:  8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday, March 10, 2010.
