Thursday: “Scam Jam” Visits Salem, Oregon

Join Oregon Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum and fraud experts from the Oregon Department of Justice, the Oregon Department of Consumer and Business Services, AARP Oregon and the Federal Trade Commission for “Scam Jam”, a free interactive fraud prevention workshop, in Salem, Oregon Thursday, October 24, 2019. Cristin Severance, Investigative Reporter with KGW News, will emcee the event.

Scam Jam is an educational and entertaining program designed to educate the audience about today’s scams and schemes, such as Medicare fraud, insurance and investment fraud, online and door-to-door scams, identity theft, and other scams that target older consumers.
