Every two minutes, someone in the United States becomes a victim of fraud. A disproportionate number of scams target the nation’s most honorable and vulnerable – veterans and the elderly.

On Monday, May 20th, veterans and their families are invited to tour the World of Speed Motorsports Museum, enjoy a light breakfast and lunch, and learn how to fight back and stop the crooks before they spot you.

Hosted by the Oregon Department of Justice, the Oregon Department of Consumer and Business Services, AARP Oregon, and the Oregon Department of Veterans’ Affairs.

With special appearances by Oregon Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum and Mitchell Sparks, the Deputy Director of the Oregon Department of Veterans’ Affairs.
