If you have a question about a consumer-related issue or would like to file a complaint against a business please contact the Attorney General’s Consumer Hotline from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or complete an online Consumer Complaint Form anytime.
DOJ is committed to ensuring a safe and fair marketplace for Oregon consumers and businesses. While state law prohibits the Attorney General or DOJ employees from offering legal advice counsel to individuals, we are able to help many informally resolve consumer issues.
If you would like to take legal action please contact a private attorney or file suit in local small claims court. If you need help finding a lawyer, the Oregon State Bar Lawyer Referral Service can help match you with an appropriate legal representative.
|Are you interested in volunteering for DOJ? The Attorney General’s Consumer Hotline is staffed by a team of dedicated volunteers who personally field more than 30,000 calls a year. If you live in the Salem area and are interested in helping fellow Oregonians recover money from companies that break the law, please drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org.|
