Update

On 5/7/25, the plaintiff states filed their complaint and a motion for preliminary injunction.

On 6/24/25, the district court issued a preliminary injunction order, barring the government from terminating the funding.

On 8/1/25, the plaintiff states filed an amended complaint.

On 8/26/25, the parties filed cross-motions for summary judgment motion. (Plaintiffs’ motion) (Defendants’ motion)

On 10/29/25, the district court granted a motion to intervene filed by several public interest organizations. The court schedule a hearing on the parties’ summary judgment motions for 1/13/26.
