Overview

ORS 183.452 » and OAR 137-003-0545 » permit an officer/employee of a state agency to participate in a contested case hearing on behalf of the agency, with DOJ approval. This Overview of Agency Lay Representation in Contested Cases (PDF) provides a two-page summary of the approval process.
