On 5/28/25, the court issued an opinion and order striking down and permanently enjoining all four sets of tariffs as unlawful. That same day the federal defendants appealed to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

On 5/29/25, the Federal Circuit issued an administrative stay order, temporarily pausing the injunction to allow the court to review the government’s stay motion.

06/10/2025

On 6/10/25, the Federal Circuit issued an order granting the government’s motion for a stay pending appeal and scheduled an expedited oral argument on the merits for 7/31/25.
