Tariffs (Oregon v. Trump, Court of International Trade, 1:26-cv-01472)

Lawsuit challenging the President’s imposition of tariffs under Section 122 of the Trade Act of 1974. That law authorizes limited tariffs for “balance-of-payment deficits,” among other things. But it does not authorize tariffs for trade deficits, the circumstances cited in the President’s proclamation.
