Child Support Calculator Information

The Child Support Calculator helps parents estimate their monthly child support obligation based on the Oregon Child Support Guidelines. These guidelines are used in all child support cases to determine how much money each parent should contribute for the care of their child.

Things to know about the Child Support Calculator:

  • The calculator provides an estimate and is not a guarantee of the amount of child support that will be ordered.
  • The administrator, administrative law judge, or court has the final authority to determine the amount of a child support order.
  • The amount of time each parent spends with their children is factored into the calculation. The Parenting Time Calculator » may be used to determine this percentage and also to help create a parenting plan, please see Parenting Time Information for more information.
