Certified Application Assistant Information

Designated by the Attorney General, Certified Application Assistants help survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, hate crimes and bias incidents, and human trafficking apply for the Address Confidentiality Program (ACP). Certain health care providers may also be eligible for ACP.

Please contact an Application Assistant near you (listed by county below). If your county is not listed, please contact the ACP’s main office at 503-373-1323 or email acp@doj.oregon.gov.us to locate an Application Assistant.

Advocates who are interested in becoming a Certified Application Assistant need to complete the following steps:

  • Register for the online course through Workday Learning. Instructions can be found here.
  • Complete the ACP training through Workday Learning. The name of the course is DOJ-CVSSD-Introduction to the Address Confidentiality Program.
  • Fill out the Application Assistant (AA) Agreement here.
  • Send the AA Agreement along with the certificate received upon completion of the ACP course to acp@doj.oregon.gov.

To stay active as an AA, advocates need to renew their certificate every two years. This includes re-taking the online course, filling out the AA Agreement and emailing it with the certificate to acp@doj.oregon.gov.
